In line with new health and safety practices providing for drug and alcohol testing in the workplace we provide a full range of drug and alcohol testing facilities. We offer a choice of saliva, breath, blood and urine testing.
We will work directly with your company to implement your drug and alcohol policy.
This is usually done with a breath sample. Where this sample is positive, we take a urine test and advise the employer immediately that the patient is unfit for work. We send all samples to a laboratory for confirmation and this ensures the maximum level of legal certainty available.
This is usually done with a saliva sample which tests for cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamines, cannabis and opioids. If the result is positive, the saliva test is transferred to a laboratory for confirmation of the positive test.
Each company has unique needs and we discuss the most appropriate form of testing at the drug and alcohol policy inception stage.
