Dr Patrick Crowley,
MB LMCC DCh MA
Dr Patrick Crowley graduated from UCC in 1972. He practised in Cork, Canada and the United States for 7 years. He returned to establish the Ovens medical practice in 1979. Dr Crowley has a particular interest in occupational health and has strong links with local employers in the area. He is considered an expert on sports injuries and has developed the Mycro hurling helmet over the last 30 years.
Dr Ann Nicholson,
MB DCh DObs MRCGP
Dr Ann Nicholson graduated from Trinity in 1980 and was one of the first to complete the Cork GP training scheme. She worked in West Cork before joining the practice in 1986. Dr Nicholson has a strong interest in women’s health and the treatment of infertility.
Dr Eamonn O Grady,
MB DCh MICGP DObs
Dr Eamonn O Grady graduated from UCC in 1992 and completed his GP training in 1996. He joined the practice in 2000 and has been instrumental in developing the practices' occupational health services over that time. Dr O Grady also runs a minor surgery clinic in our Ovens premises.
Dr Shane McCarthy,
MB MICGP Dip Op Health
He joined the practice hin 2006 having practised as a GP in Dublin for a number of years. Dr McCarthy has a diploma in Occupational health from the Society of Occupational Health in the UK.
Dr Oonagh Molloy,
MB MICGP DObs
Dr Molloy graduated in 2000 and has worked extensively in hospitals in Australia and Ireland. She has recently joined the practice having worked as a GP in Macroom and in Castlegregory over the last 2 years. Dr Molloy specialises in womens health.
